Tell me this dress is not to die for. My sweet, beautiful friend Annie discovered this dress on Pinterest one day and purchased it from an Australian boutique called Pemba Boutique. Yes, this fabulous dress traveled all the way from Australia to get here. Who would have thought you would have to search down under for all of this glitter?
After admiring this dress for several weeks, Annie and I decided to style it for a blog post. I chose to style it for an event or special occasion, such as a wedding or New Year's Eve, hence all of the gold. To maintain a nice balance of glitter, I added glitter heels instead of a glitter clutch to accent the shoulders. The pop of pink is stunning and along with the glitter shoulders is plenty enough that I would not add a necklace because there would simply be too much going on. Finally the gold Tory Burch clutch amps up the glamour of this style.
If you want to add jewelry, I would opt for bracelets. These simple Stella & Dot bracelets that Annie has go perfectly. The one on the right is more edgy, which I actually prefer, but the one of the left is larger and always a classic style.
As I mentioned before, you can always dress this down for a night out with girls or date night dinner. These black ballet flats from Tory Burch are comfy and still cute enough to wear out. Black heels would dress this style down as well.
Special thanks to Annie Badenoch for helping this style come together.
