We've landed in Park Slope! We haven't had a chance to explore yet, but we've stumbled upon several cool finds, including this Italian Citrus cologne by D.S. & Durga. Actually, Jd had heard of the company while we were still in Richmond, but he didn't try any of their products until we officially got our address in Brooklyn (D.S. & Durga's products have to be purchased online so we needed a shipping address before we could order). We discovered that their studio/warehouse is only a few blocks away from our apartment when Jd received his new cologne! We love the scent so much that we decided to purchase another one to giveaway to one of you lucky Peaches+Salt followers! Keep reading for details.
Since Jd is in the creative advertising field, and therefore a nerd for all things design and packaging, I could tell that D.S. & Durga's logo and clean website was what initially attracted him to their products. The more he read about them the more he wanted to try one of their colognes. He chose the Italian Citrus and it smells amazing. It's not overpowering at all, it's very light and fresh. It's made with cold pressed lemons, blood orange rinds, chinotto, green mandarin and several other notes.
If you're looking for a new fragrance, D.S. & Durga has a variety of perfume and colognes made from premium-sourced raw materials. Each scent has a story behind it and was created from some form of inspiration, whether it's historical movements or ritual medicine. Most of the fragrences are from $125 - $180 and well worth the cost. The duo behind the scenes of D.S. & Durga are in fact D.S. and his wife Durga (a nickname given to her by D.S. himself). Learn more about the two of them here.
But rememeber earlier I mentioned something about giving away one bottle of their Italian Citrus fragrance? After Jd received his first bottle we decided to order another fragrance AND one more Italian Citrus to give away to one of our amazing blog followers! To enter, visit our Instagram page here! The rules are simple, just follow @peachesandsalt, like the D.S. & Durga photo and comment on it by tagging three (3) friends!
